Welcome!
Limousine
Eighteen clients and business partners,
Talk to us
A
few months back, we launched a Zoomerang survey to hear what you had to
say. We wanted to find out what we're doing well and what we can do
even better.
We think it's
important to be in touch with you on a regular basis. These
newsletters are one way to keep the lines of communication open.
If you haven't
already, you can let us know how we're doing by taking the Limousine
Eighteen Zoomerang Survey. And when you do, we will enter you in
our contest.

We are pleased to welcome Bill as our new General
Manager. Willam Walch, Jr. comes to Limousine Eighteen with
extensive experience in the transportation industry.
He says, "Several key factors
impressed me about Limousine Eighteen: a capable and professional
staff that consistently delivers outstanding customer service; a
company with industry leading technology; and a finally, a company
uniquely positioned for future worldwide growth. I am excited to
be part of such a quality organization."
Originally from the Midwest, William has
lived in the Boston area for 20 years and enjoys sailing off the coast
of Maine.
Bill Hurynowicz

We are pleased to
announce that Bill Hurynowicz was recently promoted to Director of
Business Development. As General Manager of Limousine Eighteen, he
was instrumental in the 100% growth that the company experienced over
the past three years. Bill helped create and implement
the very successful and cutting edge Chauffeur Partner Program.

Eighteen’s client base through various sales and marketing activities.
Customer
Satisfaction Survey Results
We asked eight simple questions
to rate your satisfaction with Limousine Eighteen. Our goal was
to understand how we're doing and what we can improve our performance.
98% of the people who took the
survey said they “already have” or would “absolutely”
recommend Limousine Eighteen. The other 2% said it was “very
likely” they would recommend us.
“Thank you for your excellent service.”

Announcing the Winner!

Congratulations to our latest winner, Renee
Corine Arnold of Rounder Records.
Renee completed our customer satisfaction survey on the Limousine Eighteen website and was entered
into our drawing. She is a Sales and
Marketing Assistant at Rounder
Records in Burlington, Massachusetts. Founded in 1970, Rounder Records
is America’s premier independent label. Rounder and its Zoë,
Heartbeat, Philo, and Bullseye Blues imprints have a catalog of over
3,000 albums, representing a wide variety of folk, roots, rock, blues,
and reggae music. When we called
to tell her that she won, she said:
"WOW! That's awesome!"
She and a guest will receive transportation to and dinner at the award-winning
Legal Sea Foods restaurant, courtesy of Limousine Eighteen. She says,
"Every time I or someone else from Rounder has booked travel with
Limousine 18, you have been reliable and consistent."
Chauffeur
Partner Program - Oscar Rodriguez

Our
Chauffeur Partner program has been in operation for three successful
years now, and has resulted in the creation of a group of very busy
entrepreneurs. The program enables people to lease new Lincoln Towncars
or SUVs and then partner with Limousine Eighteen. Rather than simply
driving when assigned to do so, the Chauffeur Partners can control
their schedules, their vehicles, and their work schedules.
One Chauffeur
Partner, Oscar Rodriguez, chatted with us recently. Oscar has been
in the program for over two years, has been in the industry for
seven years, and drives an SUV. He likes the flexibility the program
gives him to manage his own business, as well as spend time with
his family. His daughters are busy with cheerleading, sports, and
Girl Scouts, and his twin toddler sons also keep him and his wife
on the run.
Before joining
Limousine Eighteen, Oscar was a chef at several local restaurants,
as well as having one of the coolest jobs around: personal chef
to the New England Patriots. He was also a chef at the 600 Club
for the Red Sox. He still cooks a lot, but enjoys it more as he's
cooking healthy meals for his own family.
His relationship
with Limousine Eighteen is special to him too, because it has given
him much more financial opportunity and peace of mind. He's working
for himself, but also working with the company where the chauffeurs
seem the happiest. Years ago, while waiting at the limo holding
area at Logan Airport (where the drivers wait for their clients
to land), he realized that literally the only guys who weren't complaining
were the ones who worked for Limousine Eighteen. When he had the
chance to join the company, he took it. Oscar still meets high profile
people, including professional athletes and their families, but
now he also has time for his own all-stars.
Book
a Trip - Get in the Game
Face-to-face
meetings are the ideal way to close a deal, kick off a project,
or smooth over some ruffled feathers. While we have an amazing list
of technologies at our disposal, no email from your blackberry,
online chat, or video conference call can take the place of an in
person conversation. There's something powerful about sitting
across
the table from someone, seeing them eye-to-eye,
hearing what
they have to say. Woody
Allen said "80% of success is showing up." And
while that's
not 100% true - it makes a mighty big case to be there. You
can't win if you don't play.
Call us to book your transportation for your next match,
game or tournament (either in the office or on the field). We
look forward to helping you to plan corporate and personal travel
all over the world.
Cars About Town
Industry Update on the Lincoln Town Car
The Lincoln
Town Car is the primary vehicle used for executive transportation.
It's the full-size luxury sedan that serves as the flagship of Ford's
Lincoln luxury car division. If you've booked transportation with
us, chances are you have taken a ride in one.
Ford at one
time had considered ending production on Lincoln's flagship model
after the planned closing of the Wixom Assembly Plant in Wixom,
Michigan in 2007. Ford ultimately decided to keep the model and
move assembly to the St. Thomas Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada
where the Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis are currently
built. The Town Car's manufacture will resume at its new location
in late 2007. According to Consumer Guide, the vehicle's
strengths are comfort, materials, and ride quality.
